The new Mahindra Bolero is ready to dominate on the Indian roads

Mahindra & Mahindra, an Indian multinational automobile manufacturer has launched the new Mahindra Bolero with some major cosmetic changes like three spoke steering wheels, rectangular AC Vents, ABS, a central console, four airbags, a larger screen infotainment system, electronic stability programme and many more amazing features.

The new Mahindra Bolero is being offered in two engine options, ‘DI’ and m2DiCR with 2.5-litre and the capacity of the engine is 2523cc. Both the engines are configured with five speed manual transmission gearbox which provides the maximum power while driving.  The 'DI' engine which generates the maximum power of 63bhp at 3200rpm and the torque output is 180Nm between 1440 to 1500rpm whereas the m2DiCR engine which produces the maximum power of 65bhp at 3200rpm and the output of the torque is around 195Nm at 1400 to 2200rpm. The ‘Di’ has the mileage of 8 to 11 Kmpl whereas the m2DiCR engine has a good mileage of 10 kmpl in the city and 13 kmpl on highways.

The top speed of the SUV is 125 to 130 Kmph where it takes just 20 to 25 seconds to reach 100kmph from zero thanks to its 5-speed manual transmission gearbox and NGT 520 which are equipped in the engine.

To provide stunning look from inside, a good quality of plastic has been used and its roomy cabin is finished with a striking color scheme. It is also incorporated with a three spoke steering wheel having a company’s logo. The three-row seating arrangements provide so comfort and space. Some utility features has been used like ergonomic door grab handles, drink holders, second row seat with folding function, center armrest in the second row and cabin lights. 

Exterior part of the new Mahindra Bolero is outstanding as it has a broad air dam and a couple of round shaped fog lamps which provide cooling to the engines and 'DI' and 'Plus' which are the entry level trims are blessed with black bumpers. A company's logo has been fixed on a signature radiator which is just above of black bumpers. From the side profile, the Mahindra Bolero has a modish appearance because of its door handles which are in body color and the wing mirrors are in black color and it also has stylish body decals which provide a spectacular look. The rear profile has a bold proportion and it also has a big windscreen with high mount third brake light and a wiper for safety.

The suspension is very good and helps the SUV to run and deal with the potholes of the Indian roads. The vehicle also has a braking mechanism which works on every seasonal condition and the front axle got the strut system which is free with anti roll bar and coil spring whereas the rear axle has a egg-shaped leaf springs.
