The German automobile manufacturer Volkswagen has come up with the Volkswagen Polo with three models Trendline, Comfortline and Highline and it is being offered in both diesel and petrol engines. The diesel variants are configured with 1.5-litre engine and a five speed manual gearbox with the capacity of 1498cc that provides the power of 88.8bhp and the torque output is 230Nm. The diesel engine has 4-cylinders and 16-valves and it is based on DOHC (Dual Overhead Camshaft) valve configuration whereas the petrol variants is equipped with the 1.2-litre engine with the capacity of 1198cc which generates the power of  74bhp with 110nm of maximum torque. It is also based on a DOHC valve configuration and it is equipped with 3-cylinders and 12-valves.

The diesel variants provide the maximum mileage of 9 Kmpl in city while 22 Kmpl on expressways and it can be reached to 100 Kmph from zero in just 14 seconds whereas the petrol variants provide 14.12 Kmpl in city and 16.47 on highways and it can also reach to 100 Kmph in just 13-15 seconds.

The facelift has been updated with a classy alloy wheels having a lavish bumper, new radiator grille and modified headlight cluster that gives its exterior a stylish look. The rear bumper and the taillight cluster have also been improved that gives a tremendous appearance of the car. While the interior has been fixed up with the modish and comfortable seats, a dashboard and a central console. The information display which comes between tachometer and speedometer got a new color scheme in the instrument panel along with some more functions.

Volkswagen Polo has been incorporated with a good braking and handling system which has an antilock braking system and the suspension, the front axle has been fixed up with McPherson strut and the rear one with the semi-independent trailing arm system which helps the vehicle to keep steady. To deliver a comfort handling, it has an advanced electronic power steering system along with some similar functions.
