Tata Motors, the homegrown car
manufacturer is providing the affordable cars to the Indian car
lovers. Last year, the company has launched the Bolt hatchback and
the Zest sedan under the budget segment. Now, the car maker is
planning to launch the Hexa SUV in the replacement of the Aria. Tata Hexa was displayed at the 2016 Indian Auto Expo where it received a
good response from the car lovers. Here, we're presenting the five
interesting things which one should know about the Tata Hexa.
Engine Borrowed from the Safari
Storme
Tata Hexa will run on a 2.2-Litre
Varicor diesel engine which is currently powering the top model of
the Safari Storme. The car will produce 154 bhp of outstanding power
and 400 Nm of peak torque which is making it interesting.
Automatic Transmission System
The car is transmitting its power with
help of a 6-speed manual transmission system. Also, it is rumored
that the Hexa will have a 6-speed automatic gearbox to reduce the
driving efforts.
Muscular Body & Impressive Looks
To make the car successful, Tata Motors
might launch the Hexa with tough and muscular body design, projector
headlamps and daytime running LED lights inspired from the Land
Rover.
Interiors
Inside the cabin, Tata Hexa will have
3-spoke steering wheel mounted with feature buttons, infotainment
system, leather wrapped seats and Harman music system to make the
journey entertaining.
Advanced Safety Features
Tata Motors used the advanced safety
and security features in the upcoming 7-seater Hexa SUV. The car will
offer complete safety with 6-airbags, advanced braking system, ABS,
EBD and ESP system that will make it safe to drive.
Tata Hexa is expected to arrive in the
Indian car market in the next couple of months for the estimated
price of INR 13.0 – 18.0 Lac ex-showroom.
