Hyundai, the South Korean automaker is back again with its newly lavish model Hyundai i20 Active. The compact crossover is being offered in two petrol and three diesel engines and it will be very easy for them to choose the options according to their needs. Both the engines are of Elite i20 hatchback and there are no changes in them. The diesel engines  are powered by a second generation 1.4-litre CRDi engine whereas the petrol versions are equipped with a 1.2 litre, 4 cylinder engine.

The new Hyundai i20 active looks like its previous version Elite i20 hatchback but its ground space of 90mm. The stylish cosmetics give it a sporty look. It has some stylish features like LED DRLs, pair of aluminum roof rails, projector headlamps, diamond cut alloy wheels that improve it beauty. It also got alloy wheels as standard feature which makes it more stylish.

The interior has two color options Aqua Blue and Tangerine Orange which give a generous appearance to the black colored interiors. Coming to the seats, they got blessed with the fabric upholstery and the steering wheel has a leather cover. The Hyundai i20 active is blessed with the full comfort and safety features and its top end variants got a steering adaptive ECM display which makes it first vehicle in its class to having such amazing feature. It helps the driver in parking in a less space of parking place with the help of a rear camera along with steering angle sensitive guidelines. It is also equipped with a generation supervision instrument cluster which helps and displays service reminder along with parking sensors and a steering position reminder. It also got a telescopic and tilt steering wheel this helps in driving and makes it safe. All the variants except the base variants are equipped with anti lock braking system and its mid range variants are blessed with a driver airbag and its top end variants have passenger airbag.

The price of the new compact crossover petrol version is 6.38 lakh - Rs 7.09 lakh whereas the diesel version has the price 7.63 lakh - Rs 8.89 lakh and will fight with the Toyota Etios Cross, Fiat Avventura and Volkswagen Cross Polo.
